Some of the promises of the new Ukrainian government are as follows - the dollar rate will stabilize, fuel prices will fall. Experts are looking at the situation with the rise in gasoline prices in Ukraine.

According to Sergei Kuyun, who is the director of the A-95 Consulting Group, if the dollar is fixed at UAH 13, then motorists will not be able to count on gasoline cheaper than UAH 17.5. for one liter. If the dollar is within UAH 11.5, the fuel will remain at the level that currently exists in the country.

In addition, the head of "A-95" as a positive trend cites the fact that over the past 3-4 days, the rise in prices has significantly decreased. Judging by the fact that, literally in early April, the price of gasoline "jumped madly", then some stagnation in the pricing policy can probably be considered a positive moment.What is the reason for the high cost of gasoline in the country of Maidans? The answer is obvious. Fuel imports to Ukraine account for 80 percent of the entire market. Add to this the increase in the excise tax, which is simply linked to the exchange rate. Of course, the grown Euro and the dollar cannot fail to pull up the cost of fuels and lubricants.

However, the agrarians are sounding the alarm. Who else but them "sideways" is the high cost of fuels and lubricants. Therefore, it was the Ministry of Agrarian Policy that turned to the Ministry of Energy with a request to settle the issue with the price of fuel. After all, neither sowing nor harvesting in such a situation will be possible.

By the way, it is the agrarians who notice that even with the fixed exchange rate, the cost of fuels and lubricants continues to rise. In addition, some gas stations do not agree to release oil products to agricultural producers by bank transfer.

According to the latest data, the average prices at Ukrainian gas stations are as follows:

  • A-92 - UAH 14.98;
  • A-95 - UAH 15.20;
  • Diesel fuel - UAH 14.68

It should be noted that in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, just last week, the cost of gasoline, on the contrary, decreased by one hryvnia. The cost of diesel fuel has also decreased by UAH 0.75.
