If we talk about a hybrid version, then this Toyota RAV4 crossover is available in 4 trim levels. The main difference is the drive, front or full, respectively, the power of the unit depends on this. Otherwise, both the gasoline and hybrid versions of the new crossover have proven themselves only from the best side. The cars will be quite pleased with their technical characteristics, respectively, and the dynamics of acceleration.
Braking system and suspension
The suspension of the new generation Toyota RAV4 has changed significantly (now the design is at the heart of the TNGA). The engineers basically took it from the new Camry or Prius. At the front, there are classic MacPherson struts and an anti-roll bar. Behind there is also an independent suspension, spring with two double wishbones and an anti-roll bar.
As for the braking system, there are only ventilated disc brakes. At the heart of the new Toyota RAV4 crossover are 17 ″ wheels, with 225/65 tires, 18 ″ or 19 ″ alloy wheels in silver or black are also available. The spare wheel of the crossover is made in the form of a stowaway, a full wheel is not provided.
Optics of the new crossover
Comparing the optics of the new generation Toyota RAV4 2019 and the generation of the crossover from 2015 to 2018, the differences are noticeable with the naked eye. Designers literally reworked it in a new way. The shape of the front optics is sharp, with pronounced details. From the basic configuration, the optics are adaptive and LED. It also has LED daytime running lights built in.
The rear feet of the Toyota RAV4 crossover also received an LED base. With all this, the shape is more reminiscent of the Highlander model. The designers divided the sectors, and in addition emphasized the chrome V-shaped line.

Despite the fact that the new Toyota RAV4 crossover of the new generation was presented at the beginning of 2018, the novelty officially reached Russia only in mid-2019. To all this, prices were not announced to the last, thereby holding back the intrigue for potential buyers. Officially, 4 basic configurations were brought to the Russian Federation, but given the variety of technical characteristics, they are also divided into additional modifications.
